1996

Novasoft is awarded with the Prize ETI Andalusia 1996 for its commitment with the Information Technologies.

1998

Novasoft has a special mention in the Spanish Society Awards of Healthcare IT (SEIS).

1999

IT and Healthcare National Award, awarded by the Spanish Society of Healthcare IT (SEIS).

2000

First Andalusia Prize to the Business Excellence awarded by the Junta de Andalucia.

Francisco Barrionuevo, Novasoft Chairman, is awarded with the National Prize ASTER to the Best Entrepreneur in the High School of Commercial Management and Marketing (ESIC) and the IV “Young Businessman” Award (Association of Young Businessmen, AJE).

2001

The Economy and Treasury Ministry of The Junta de Andalucia awarded NOVASOFT with the ALAS Prize to the International Entrepreneur.

Novasoft is awarded with the SEIS Prize to the Researching Group in the Clinical Sector.

2002

Novasoft is nominated in the seventh edition of the Principe Felipe Awards to the Business Excellence in the "Industrial Quality" category.

Novasoft is awarded with the Prize to the Social Commitment and Creation of Employment.

Spanish Confederation of Young Business people, AJE.

Novasoft received the Trajano Prize to the best Andalusia Business Initiative in 2002, awarded by El Mundo newspaper and the Confederation of Andalusia Business people.

2003

Flexible Enterprise Prize 2003, Novasoft awarded with the Accesit prize in the PYMES category.

Novasoft amongst the 25 best National Enterprises with the Best Environment to Work, according to a study carried out by the Consulting Company “Great Place to Work” and co-ordinated by ESADE.

2004

Novasoft Healthcare is classified in the "Healthcare Informatics 100", produced by McGraw Hill, as one of the 100 most important ITC companies in the International Healthcare sector.

Francisco Barrionuevo, Novasoft Chairman and CEO, received the Gold Medal of Andalusia for his enterprising character. Junta de Andalucia.

2005

Four Novasoft’s board members enter the Club of Assessors of the Centro Andaluz de Excelencia en la Gestión (Andalusian Centre of Management Excellence) and two of them are also included in the Club Nacional de Evaluadores de Excelencia en Gestión (National Club of Assessors on Management Excellence), participating in external evaluations for other regional awards.

The CEO of Novasoft, Francisco Barrionuevo, is appointed President of the Consejo Social de la Universidad de Málaga (Social Council of the University of Málaga).

2006

Novasoft passes successfully the evaluation of the Club Nacional de Evaluadores de Excelencia en Gestión and is awarded the Sello de Excelencia (Excellence Seal), silver category, i.e. more than 400 points.

The company receives two awards as ‘best company of the year in Andalusia’ in the category of Innovation from the financial publications Ejecutivos and Dirigentes.

2007

Novasoft reaches the final in the 10th edition of the Príncipe Felipe award on Business Excellence, in the category of Industrial Quality. This is the second time that the company is in the final of these prestigious awards granted by the Ministry of Industry.

The CEO of Novasoft, Francisco Barrionuevo, is designed President of the Foundation Alcántara, an institution created to highlight the work and figure of the author Manuel Alcántara.

2008

Novasoft is chosen among a group of companies set up in the Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía to be part of the local committee of the Club Málaga Valley, and alliance between the world’s major technological companies to launch Málaga as a great European technological platform.

In June, Novasoft wins the Príncipe Felipe award on Business Excellence in the category of Industrial Quality. It is the first Andalusian company to obtain this award in this category, the most important prize that a Spanish company can get.
