After achieving the Quality certification in 1999, Novasoft begins to apply the EFQM Model of Excellence. The first step was to undertake a Self-assessment that showed the first strengths and areas of improvement. That year, Novasoft opted for the Prince Felipe Prize, starting a consolidated process in the application of the Excellence EFQM Model. With this objective, the EFQM group was born; it comprised 7 people from the management team and from the different areas and divisions of Novasoft. Later, we decided to provide training on the EFQM Model and carry out the Self-assessments. All the participants considered the experience as highly positive, and the main areas of improvement identified were personnel satisfaction and the impact in society. Within each area the manager informed his/her direct co-workers about the objectives of the EFQM model, the commitment with it and the dedication of any managing director with the preparation of the report and the definition of change. |
